T he Corleone bosses
and those of Palermo all sentenced to life imprisonment
by the Court of Appeal that believes the statements made
by the state collaborators Brusca and Cancemi.
The sentence, pronounced on Friday 7 April, took everyone
by surprise. Thanks to the investigation led by Carabinieri
and the Police the killers were caught in only a few months.
This sentence closes one of the most delicate trials
of the last year. The investigation, however, goes on
because the instigators of the Capaci massacre must still
be found.
