Thirty paintings by Giotto in a single exhibition
The Gallery of the Academy in Florence worked years trying to put together the paintings of the thirteenth century artists disseminated throughout the world.
The result is that we can now see thirty works of art arrived in Tuscany from all over the world, among which the "Madonna with Child and Saints" which came from New York and the central cusp of the "Baroncelli Polyptych" from Saint Diego.
This exhibition, open till September 30, gives the public the opportunity of admiring paintings never before seen in Europe and understanding Giotto's ability in discovering the details of human reality.
